The Guild Tournament

On June 23rd 2012 the TOR-Talk & Tribus Communities will be hosting "The Guild Tournament" at 10:00 PM (Eastern Time) on the "Jung Ma" RP-PvP Server! Both Republic and Imperial Guild(s) are encouraged to participate in this event of community and server pride.

As specified vaguely above, "The Guild Tournament" will be an event in which teams made 4 players can compete. These teams are "guild-only" teams. If you want to participate in the event "your" guild needs to "buy-in" with 50,000 credits. The "buy-in" money is also the prize money for the winning team.

I think this is excellent way for our guild to show our strength to other guilds on Jung Ma. What do you guys think?

I think all the 50's in the guild should have a tournament prior to this one to come up with the best team.

As they said, winner takes all, and 50k credits isn't much but its a full pot compared to the rest of the server.

the 4 best lvl 50's should make this team.

I 2nd this. I like the tourny idea to find our best, but at the same time, I nominate xenlid as a given LOL. Anyone seen him in WZ will know he is our best shot. If Devynth ever makes it back, he is really really good too. Just need tank and healer. We have a good mix of those so should be fun. Really sucks we can only have 1 team of 4 cause alot of people will have to sit out.

Anyway, I just suggested those two names as I am personally familur with their pvp skill and gear. I think this would be fun and enjoyable.

Side note: we want the best team we can possibly get so if you are even slightly interested in this, pvp like it is going out of style for the next month cause you will not cut it in recruit gear for this. BM minimum and as much WH as you can get. Farm the stuff out of WZ, work together by grouping up for WZ, I think we stand a chance as long as we have our best team.

I realy want to this. I am PVP Tank spec but will change to DPS if need be to join in.

Kaiko, you are amung atleast a few people in the guild that wants to do this. just remember that there is only 4 spots per guild so we have to pick and choose. kinda wish they just left it at teams of 4, but oh well. that means alot of people will have to sit out and cheer on our team. If you want a place on the team, then get your WH gear and work for it. talk with marlon and xenlid and gep for pvp tips and information. Run WZ with guildies to work on team work.

Sokan guild bank will cover the entry fee.

I do know this Xenlid has the highest valor rank in guild. Followed by me (hit War Hero yesterday) and closely behind me is Gep. I have no real desire to battle in the tournament but I would like Sokan to make a name for itself here that is for sure. So I will battle if I need to.

The battles might also be very laggy because of all the spectators on Tatt during the battle. Some people might find it almost impossible to battle. I do think Mir has the right idea that we need to have tryouts for who should represent Sokan this time.

Anyone who is interested in this should send me their name, approximate gear level (half War Hero and half BM), and class/spec (Guardian DPS/Vigilance). I'll get all the names together and contact everyone once I have a list and we will setup some tryout to see who will make the team. I'm going to make an executive decision on this and make Xenlid team captain. Look forward to hearing from all of you.

This is happening this weekend and we have 2 Tanks and 1 DPS signed up for this as of last night. We need a Healer and another DPS at least to be able to compete in the tournament.

Kaiko is right. We do need a few more people. Also, we are just looking to have fun win or lose. Don't feel like because you aren't in full WH you can't try to make the team. Right now here is who we have

Tank - Marlon or Kaiko
DPS - Gep and maybe Xenlid
Heals - No one

If we do get enough to do tryouts, I'm going to try and run those on Thursday. We'll do a simple best of 3.

I believe Estelle said she would be willing to heal - I would shoot her a message in game about it.

We should be contacting Kovin for the sign up for todays tournament. We also have to decide who is going to be our second dps. hopefully it will be xenlid but i dont know if he will be here. If not then we need to be quick about finding another dps. Also i suggest we do some premades, the team, so that to warm up and kinda like sync into place. Also we need to gather up 50k to enter but thats easy to get.
